SDG Week 2026
Aqua Park's "SDGs Week":
Learning about SDG 14: Protect the oceans, seas and Aquariums resources for sustainable development.
In conjunction with the international SDGs Week, we will be holding "SDGs Week" from Saturday, September 19th to Sunday, September 27th, 2026. During this time, we will be offering opportunities to learn about the marine environment and marine life through various awareness-raising events, including the renewal of our exhibition area, "Wonder Research."
New exhibit from "Wonder Research"
This exhibition area features specific themes related to the ecology and bodily mechanisms of living creatures, providing fun yet in-depth explanations.
Our aim is to create an exhibition that will inspire guests to learn more and explore the fascinating aspects of living creatures they may not have known about before.
This time the theme is "cleaning".
In conjunction with SDG Week, the "Wonder Research" exhibition area located at the back of Wonder Tube (2F) has been renovated!
We will use panels and videos to explain the cleaning activities of the animals and the staff.
The exhibition begins with a lottery to decide who will be on cleaning duty!
You can learn about how living things "clean up" in a fun way.
Finally, we will focus on the impact of marine debris on living organisms, providing an opportunity to think about "environmental issues."
Cleaning Talk
We'll explain one of the tasks of the animal care staff: cleaning, while showing you the actual cleaning process!
I will tell you about the challenges facing the ocean, which has been maintained by the cleaning efforts of marine life.

A story about dolphin health management
We will introduce the efforts made to maintain the health of the dolphins living at the aqua park, including regular physical measurements and examinations.
After explaining the food they normally eat, the program addressed the problems affecting the oceans where dolphins live due to climate change, and how to protect the richness of the sea.
Therefore, we will work together to consider what we can do.

Friendly Time with Sea Lions ~SDGs Week Version~
"Friendly Time" will be presented in a special version for SDG Week.
This video visually illustrates the impact that the trash we carelessly drop can have on marine life, such as the possibility of mistaking plastic bottles for food or the danger of ropes getting caught on their bodies.

Seal Wild Live Viewing ~SDGs Week Version~
"Wild Live Viewing" will be presented in a special version for SDG Week.
The "garbage" we accidentally drop doesn't decompose and ends up in the habitats of animals.
In this program, we will discuss the characteristics of various animals and explain how garbage that falls into rivers and oceans affects living creatures.

Special event for SDG Week: Learn together as a family! Stories about marine life and the SDGs
A special event for elementary and junior high school students to learn about the SDGs will be held at Aquariums before it opens to the public!
Special events include lectures on the ecology of sawfish and Cape penguin in the tunnel-shaped aquarium "Wonder Tube (2F)," as well as the opportunity to "touch dolphins."
You can learn in a fun way using the original booklet and ballpoint pen.
Let's address various marine issues and think together about what we can do to protect the richness of the ocean.
*The content of various events and programs may be changed or canceled depending on the health of the creatures.
